Not for the faint hearted, the Model 48 RWS Diana air rifle is impressive in both performance and appearance. Its tremendous power is generated by a robust spring piston power plant cocked by a side lever action that shoots .177 caliber pellets up to 1100 feet per second (.22 up to 900 fps, and .25 up to 800 fps). The substantial one-piece stock allows for comfortable offhand shooting and the precision rifled, fixed barrel system is loaded via the sliding breech opening. Other features of the RWS 48 include an adjustable trigger, adjustable rear sight, and automatic safety. Available in .177, .22, and .25 calibers and the option of an air gun scope and mount.
